All parents should be aware of and understand the choices available for their children. REACH Academy can help you choose a program that is best for your child. Whether it be online learning or traditional textbooks.....we at REACH Academy are here to help you with your homeschooling needs.

 

• As a District-wide correspondence program, Reach Academy may enroll students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade from all communities within the Alaska Gateway School District. A student must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to enter Kindergarten. A Pre-K student must be 4 years old on or before September 1st to enroll. A student cannot be over the age of 20 before September 21st, unless he/she qualifies for Special Education Services.

• Additionally siblings who are 4 years old may enroll at a reduced allotment rate for core courses.

• Our student allotments are the highest in the state!

 

• We assist you in choosing curriculum and do not limit choices.

 

• We provide reimbursement for internet fees.

 

• We do not require deposits on computer purchases!

 

• You can choose either an online or textbook learning environment or mix the two together.

 

• Our parent resource center is well stocked with tons of great supplemental/hands-on resources.

 

• All of our program forms and program information is available either online or in print! Parents as the teachers have more freedom in regards to spending allotment money unlike other statewide programs!
